Cleaning Process

1. Pre-Qualification

First each rug is carefully inspected for any apparent special conditions, such as repairs, spotting, loose yarns, traffic patterns, bled dyes, odors, moth damage, etc. We then provide you with an estimate and the prescribed cleaning for your rugs. Upon work authorization and written documentation the rug is tagged, cleaned, and invoiced accordingly.

2. Air Dusting

This is the absolute safest pre-cleaning process for rugs. It uses powerful but soft compressed air to completely eliminate any dry particulate and soils in your rug. this process is not used by any other cleaner in our service region. It is exclusive to Quality Textile Services.

 3. Submersion Wash

A submersion wash combined with a disinfectant bath makes this a healthy thorough cleaning that goes unmatched. The compression wringing action assures that all contaminants and cleaning agents are purged. This process is performed on both the front and the back of the rug.

 4. Soak

The added step of soaking is on occasion warranted with pet urine affected rugs. Quality Textile Services submersion wash system allows us to attend to these circumstances with great results.

5. Air Rinse

The air rising step creates a “jacuzzi-like” effect that rinses your rug so thoroughly that the water that drops out of the rug after it is hung on the drying beam should appear drinkable. There is no other machine or technique that will achieve these rinsing results. Once again this step of our cleaning is exclusive to Quality Textile Services.

6. Drying

Drying your rug is also a very important step in washing your rug. Improper or slow drying lead to odors and other un healthy byproducts. At Quality Textile Services we have a controlled drying environment which allows speed and efficiency to protect the rug in the process.

Upon completion of drying your rugs fringes are cleaned and brushed, the knap of the rug is set and groomed with a selection of brushes, rakes and combs to leave your rugs feeling soft, supple, and luxurious. Fabric protector is applied at this time as well.
